The Rotary Club of Hilliard is bringing something special to the community this fall with the launch of the first-everĀ Hilliard Peace Festival — Bringing Communities Together.
Set for Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 9am to 3pm, this exciting new event will transform Merchant Park and the Makoy Center into a celebration of unity, peace, and community connection in honor of the UN International Day of Peace.
Two Venues, One Mission
The festival will offer something for everyone across two dynamic locations:
Merchant Park
Merchant Park will come alive with music performances and family-friendly activities, creating a festive atmosphere where neighbors can connect and celebrate together.
Makoy Center
Meanwhile, the Makoy Center will host a thoughtful Peace Symposium, developed in partnership with Rotary District 6690 and the Outward-Bound Center for Peacebuilding.
Building Bridges Through Partnership
“This festival represents everything we believe in as Rotarians — bringing people together, fostering understanding, and strengthening the bonds that make our community special,” said Hala Zahreddine, Hilliard Rotary Club Peace Committee Chair spearheading the event. “We’re excited to see local businesses and organizations unite around our shared values of peace and community connection.”
The event will showcase local businesses and organizations, highlighting the collaborative spirit that makes Hilliard thrive. From live music to educational programming, the Peace Festival promises to offer meaningful experiences for attendees of all ages.
Hilliard UMC will have a table at the event.
