2023 Special Easter Offering

We take up a special Easter offering each year, and this year there was a bit of a musical theme. Your generosity is awesome, friends – you contributed $11,585 total beyond your regular giving for this special offering!

Band Leader: You contributed $3,803 toward the $8,000 we need to fund this position for the remainder of 2023. As we work toward restarting weekly worship in Warehouse 839 on October 22, we invite you to continue contributing toward this fund.

Handbells: St. John’s UCC sold us a beautiful set of handbells for just $7,000 — they would normally cost upwards of $35,000-$40,000! We had already raised $3,500 of that, through a series of wonderful gifts already received over the last few years for this purpose from several generous donors, and at Easter this year you contributed another $5,708!

Apportionments: The final part of our offering is the sweet and beautiful music we make when we are in connection with the larger work of the church and the mission that we share as Christians and United Methodists to share God’s love with all the world, particularly in the places of greatest need. You contributed $2,073 toward our annual apportionment giving at Easter this year. It supports our denomination’s emergency response after natural disasters, scholarships for students, and the many agencies and staff that ensure the United Methodist presence is found around the world.

Thank you!

Your generosity is making a real difference, friends, and we’re honored to be in ministry with you.
