Serving within the Church
Serving within the church helps us all contribute to the good working of this community of faith! There are opportunities to:
- sing in the Chancel Choir or the Warehouse 839 band
- pray for others with the Prayer Team
- work the sound board or cameras for worship
- greet people arriving for worship
- help maintain our buildings and grounds
- help with Children’s Ministry through Godly Play or Vacation Bible School
- hang out with teens as a youth leader
- and more!

Reaching Out to Serve our Neighbors
Serving beyond the walls of the church is about reaching out to serve our neighbors in need.
It’s especially important to us to feed our community:
- Hilliard Farm Market
- Thanksgiving Outreach
- Feeding Hilliard Students

Why serve?
- Serving others fills our lives with meaning and purpose and builds our self esteem.
- It builds others up and helps us connect with others in friendship and love.
- It opens us up to being influenced, shaped, and formed by God and our neighbors, which is life-giving.
- It increases our sense of solidarity with those who are suffering and struggling.
- It contributes to the good functioning of the body of Christ.
- It boosts our joy!
