Charge Conference
Each year, United Methodist congregations are required to convene an all-church meeting called a Charge Conference. This is an annual time when the whole church gathers to celebrate ministry, set goals for the coming year, and take care of important business matters such as approving leadership, clergy compensation, and membership updates. A charge conference is part worship, part reflection, and part planning for how we’ll live out our mission together in the coming year.
Everyone is invited to attend, and all those who are professing members of Hilliard UMC will have voice and vote on any business of the Charge Conference
This year, the HUMC Charge Conference will also be voting to affirm the call to ministry of our own Max Andrick, who is seeking the support of his church as he continues the next steps in his call to pastoral ministry.
Our Charge Conference is scheduled for Sunday November 16 at 5:30pm in the Sanctuary. We will welcome our new District Superintendent the Rev. Jim Wilson who will preside.
