As we think about the call to set a wide and open banquet table for all people, we want to invite you to consider joining us for a special event for all ages!
This will be more than just a meal — it’s a hands-on, heart-opening experience.
Part cooking class, part community gathering, Taste of HUMC is a chance to roll up your sleeves, try something new, and get to know the people who make our shared table possible. Whether it’s brewing coffee, preparing Wednesday night community suppers, or showing up with love after a funeral through a hot meal — these simple acts of hospitality are changing lives.
You’ll have the chance to jump in and try out the work of these ministries, hear powerful stories from those who’ve been impacted, and enjoy a delicious meal and garden-inspired mocktails together at the table.
We believe feeding people is sacred work — and it takes all of us.
Whether you’re curious, brand new, or a long-time volunteer, this night is for you.
Come taste and see.
Come experience what it means to make room.
