Using a DVD study by Biblical scholar Amy-Jill Levine PhD, enter the history and literature of Holy Week as told in the Gospels. Levine sets the narrative in historical context and analyzes the risks and motives of the story’s characters.
From Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to his prayerful agony in Gethsemane, Levine brings forward aspects and details that open doors for beginners as well as seasoned readers of the Bible.
