There’s often a lot of confusion about what happens between Palm Sunday and Easter, especially with what happens on the cross: What does Jesus’s crucifixion mean for us today? How does God save us through the cross? What is salvation really all about? How does the cross lead us to freedom and new life? What exactly does God accomplish through the death of Jesus?
Join Pastor April Blaine and Beth Palmer, Director of Adult Discipleship, for Bible study around the character of God and then a short video presentation by Lutheran pastor The Rev. Nadia Bolz-Weber’s entitled “Cross,” where she lays out various theologies of the atonement, with discussion to follow.
