Outreach Fundraiser
The turkeys are on the loose and the pumpkins are ready to party!
From October 26 to November 5, you can send a flock of feathered friends and a patch of playful pumpkins to Gobble & Squash someone’s yard — just to let them know you’re thinking of them (and to support a great cause!).
For $20, the Faith Finders will stealthily place wooden pumpkins and turkeys* in your friend’s yard for 24 hours.
Feeling a little nervous about becoming their next target? For $10, you can buy “Gobble Insurance” to keep your yard safe from any wandering turkeys and pumpkins.
This year, for our annual Gobble and Squash fundraiser, the Faith Finders group (grades 3-6) are practicing one of HUMC’s core values: Love in Action.
Our Faith Finders know the importance of loving our neighbors. From providing food for Thanksgiving Outreach to supporting children of different faiths during these difficult times, the Faith Finders are always willing to lend a helping hand. This year the Faith Finders will be Gobble and Squashing to support HUMC’s local outreach missions.
